I sit in loneliness secluded in a corner... Metamorfose no casulo
I sit in loneliness secluded in a corner from where I view the world.
A world of false beauty filled with pleasures innumerable with bliss immeasurable.
My corner is a land of darkness where thought suffocates in a cloud of darkness.
The doors closed to all compassion secluded from all love.
I lay alone with my knowledge and wisdom.
Suffering in sorrow at the falsehood of a materialist world.
But all across I see joy, happiness and the pleasure that emanates from bliss.
I see that pleasure men derive from from companionship with the worthy other.
I sit alone gazing! staring! In a hapless gaze and a desperate stare. Craving for that which is not mine. Craving for that with all others possess. This rare gift of love. This rare gift of a companion. The basic human instinct drives my thirst. A thirst it is for love. Sweet tender and unconditional.
