Don't Forget

I put you high up in the sky
Now, you plummeted
It was fast and unbelievable
Moreover, nothing left of our past

May be late to explain
That morning of Friday, I acted like an idiot
I was broken, confused, and blind to look around
Blind, because I didn´t realize how much you meant to me

Three years .This was the time of our friendship.
And well, such friendship is gone, for nothing.
However, let's look on the bright side
It´s just a life lesson, isn´t?

But, what scared me is that it was fast
If yesterday was the time of our lives, today I don´t know who you are
You should know how time flies
I don´t know (who knows?) it wouldn´t be bad

You might think I´m crazy
I´m lost and I became a fool
Maybe, just maybe, you are right.
But I don´t intend to admit it.

Don´t try to act like a carefree!
You know what happened
But come on let's face it with dignity
These things happen, isn´t?

This can be a monologue, so I´ll stop arguing
You can pretend that nothing happened, and I promise to do the same
I´ve been waiting to hear you say that was true even
But if the end makes you happy, who am I to change?

I want to leave this as the best evidence of indiscretion
