Homesickness is that thing that comes to your heart and takes you far away. But it's good to miss something and it's good to relive what has already passed and even the people aren't there. You know, I even like to go back there and correct myself so that the real things don't repeat the past.
You see how nostalgia sometimes helps us with something. Another day I gave myself the luxury of going back to the stories of my past and feeling strong in my skin, that desire to not wake up from this longing and live there for longer. Because when I was there I didn't give it much importance and now it hurts. But life isn't the same. I'm going to experience everything that I don't experience with those people from the past, I want to do everything so that in the future I'll regret it and feel this thing we call nostalgia, it makes my heart hurt. But with all the things I've said in this short text, I can't help but enjoy the nostalgia. It is about reviving and helping us to be a better person, it makes you more observant of everything that goes on in your life. That's how I feel about longing.
And there's more, after all this is over I keep thinking about everything and it inspires me to live a more dedicated life to those I love. Homesickness… is still painful, but it is rewarding. That's how I think and how I like to see nostalgia.
